Wm. Dave Yoder, age 79 years and 9 months, of Hartville, went to be with God on Thursday night July 24, 2014. He was born in Greentown, Ohio on November 1, 1934 to the late William "Bill" and Emma (Stutzman) Yoder. He retired from Gray's Construction in Uniontown. He was a member of Hartville Mennonite Church and leader of the Torch Bearers for many years. After his retirement, he enjoyed helping his son at Clearwater Park. He enjoyed gospel music dinner concerts, and being involved in his grandchildren's lives. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Lucille; 4 sons Kevin Yoder of Philipsburg, MT, Myron "Butch" Yoder of Canal Fulton, Brian (Sandra) Yoder of Hartville, Merlin "Mert" (Charlene) Yoder of Uniontown; grandchildren Gwendolyn and Brandon; 4 sisters Mildred (Atlee) Miller of Cochranton, PA, Eileen Yoder of Hartville, Erma (John) Hostetler of Sandy Lake, PA, and Miriam Sommers of Hartville; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by an infant daughter Karen. Calling hours are Sunday 5-8 PM at Hartville Mennonite Church and an hour prior to services on Monday (10-11 AM). Funeral services are Monday 11 AM in the church with Pastors Henry Shrock, Butch Nisly and Dave Windham officiating. Final resting place is the church cemetery.
