William G. Foltz, age 89, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, in his home. He was born March 10, 1933, in Canton to Elmer Clyde and Rita Ruth (Stamm) Foltz. Mr. Foltz graduated from Timken High School in 1951, was a pattern Maker for Union Manufacturing before working at Firestone Rubber where he was a programmer, retiring in 1993. William was a member of Shepard Hill Church of the Nazarene in Louisville and Perrysville United Methodist Church. He was also an Army Veteran of the Korean War, sang in barbershop quartets and sang in the church choir.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Leanna (Saunier) Foltz; Children, William (Eva) Foltz Jr. of Canton, Michael (Lori) Foltz of Uniontown, Phillip (Michelle) Foltz of Clarksville, Tennessee, Melissa (Troy) Ellsworth of Alliance; sister, Sally Grella of Canton; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ned Foltz.
Calling hours will be Thursday 6-8:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home, 4817 Cleveland Ave NW. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home with Pastor John Stallings officiating.
