Tommy Gene Ketron, age 91, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. A Great Christian and Prayer Warrior will truly be missed. He retired from Superior Dairy. He was a 50-year member of Solid Rock Fellowship and a 35-year member of the Christian Television Ministry, Plus or Minus 60, Denny and Marge Hazen Ministries.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Hazel (Fronsman); son Thomas James Ketron; daughter and son-in-law Diane Sue (Kenneth) Sturgill; grandchildren Krystal Diana Sturgill, Sean Brandon (Megan) Sturgill, Kaitlyn Nicole Sturgill; great-granddaughter Aubrey Lynn Sturgill; sister-in-law Ellen Ketron; brother-in-law Frank (Marge) Fronsman; sisters-in-law Frances (Roland) Rich, Roberta Sue (Glenn) Copenhaver, Beverly (Loren) Anderson; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by parents and siblings.
Calling hours are April 16, 2021, Friday 11:30 AM- 12:30 PM at Solid Rock Fellowship, Hartville. Services begin at 12:30 PM in the church with Pastor Marvin Thomas Jr. and Pastor Ernest DePasquale officiating. Final resting place is North Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
