Steve A. Rice

Steve A. Rice, age 60, of Canton passed away unexpectedly at his residence on January 6, 2022. He was born in Canton on May 1, 1961, to the late Theodore and Juanita (McClellan) Rice and has been a lifelong resident of the Canton area and worked for numerous companies in a customer service capacity. Steve loved go fishing, build model airplanes, and was an avid WWII enthusiast. He was known as a big history buff those who were close to him.

Steve is preceded in death his parents; older brother Jim Rice; niece Heather Austin; great nephew Dean Leasure.

He is survived by his son Steve A Rice II (fiancé Brittany Steele); stepdaughters Stephanie (Wesley) Rash and Jennifer Green; Nieces and Nephews Jay (fiancé Alicia) Austin, Tiffanie (fiancé Matthew Dye) Tyman, Jimmy (Jamie) Rice, and Teddy Rice; sister Beth (Terry II) Baum; great nieces and nephews Paige, Alecia, Makenzi, Arianna, Matthew, Livi, Riley, Kayla, and Kenzie; cousin Tammy Wagner.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. at 5:00 PM with Celebrant Kevin O’Brien officiating.
