Sherry G. Kitzen

Sherry G. Kitzen, age 79, of Canton, passed away on Sunday May 8, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 16, 1942 to the late Leonard and Laura (Pearl) Tuber. She graduated from Glenwood High School and married Gerald Kitzen November 17, 1962. Sherry was a member of Temple Israel.

The most important thing to Sherry was her family.  Survived by husband Jerry; daughters Ilene (Jim) Burkart, Alisa Bordner; daughter-in-law Audrey Kitzen; grandchildren Zachary and Grayson Kitzen, Mackenzie Bordner and Micah Burkart; her beloved cousins the Pearls; nieces Kim, Melisse and Lindsay; nephews Leonard, Tyson and Kevin; special friends Gene and Sony Sisterhen and many other loved family and friends. Preceded in death by son Leonard Kitzen in 2018 and brother Howard Tuber. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to services (10-11 AM) at Arnold Shriver funeral home, 4817 Cleveland Ave. Funeral services begin at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rabbi David Komerofsky officiating. Final resting place is North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude. Services will be livestreamed at Arnold Funeral Homes facebook.
