Renee was an active member of the Disciples of Christ Churches, including the Park Christian Church in Dennison, First Christian Church of Barnesville, The Clyde Christian Church, and Central Christian Church in Marion, Ohio. She worked primarily in banking. Her last position was with Diebold where she retired at the age of 70.
Renee enjoyed international and domestic travel, and particularly liked her trips to Michigan and Kentucky in the autumn. One of her favorite places was Lakeside, Ohio, where the family spent time at the “Gathering Place” with our Lakeside friends.
She enjoyed creating art in various forms, but particularly painting with water colors.
Her most endearing quality was that of a caring mother and grandmother. She was kind, supportive, nurturing, and frequently singing! Renee loved children and all were welcome.
Renee was proud of her Hungarian roots, as all four of her grandparents immigrated from Hungary to the United States.
A time for gathering, sharing, and celebrating her life will be held at The Trailhead, 21 W. North Street, Akron, Ohio, on Saturday, October 17th, at 2:00 PM. Social Distancing and Masks required please.
