Penny Marshall Obituary

Penny L. Marshall, age 73, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. She was born in Massillon to the late Louis and Evelyn (Miller) Marshall. Penny was a graduate of Glenwood High School, Kent State University and Wales University College of Librarianship. She had a love for Cocker spaniels and working with people as well as playing classical piano. Penny enjoyed public speaking, book reviews, baking, and cooking. She had a green thumb when it came to working with flowers and plants. A favorite of Penny was being the Associate Director for Collection Development of the Library. She would want to be remembered as being loyal, friendly, and hardworking.

In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her sister, Thyra Marshall.

In keeping with Penny’s wishes she will be cremated, and no services are planned. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Stark County Library Foundation 715 Market Avenue N., Canton, OH 44702. Please sign the tribute page.
