Patricia “Patty” Ann Seiple, age 84, passed away June 8, 2021 at the Danbury in Massillon with family by her side. She was born in Canton, Ohio on July 25, 1936, the daughter of Karl and Marion (Blair) Yant and graduated form Lehman High School in 1954. Following high school, she attended Heidleburg College and Aultman School of Nursing. She was the Clinical Director for Planned Parenthood for over 20 years.
Patty loved playing golf with her friends, and having a cold beer after they finished playing. She was also known for twirling her baton re-living her days as a Lehman high school majorette. The residents at the Danbury Senior Living soon found out quickly how much Patty loved to dance and she became known as the dancing queen.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 59 years, Richard Paul Seiple and her brother Richard Yant. She is survived by 3 children Susan Jeffers (Carl Esker) of Canton, Sam (Jolinda) Seiple of Canton, and Sherry Seiple of Valrico, FL; grandchildren Brandon (fiancé Sarah) Jeffers of Louisville, Ohio, Sean Jeffers of Canton, Christine (Steve) Piper of Carslbad, CA, Nekolai Seiple of Valrico, FL.
Per family wishes a private graveside service has been held with Pastor Terry Livengood officiating and burial has taken place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lehman High School Alumni Association.
