Nancy Capps Obituary

Nancy C. Capps, age 83, of Hartville, passed away on Monday January 17, 2022. She was born in Ravenna on March 3, 1938 to the late Leland and Grace (Toole) Burns and graduated from Springfield High School. Nancy was a Lake School District Bus Driver for years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Thomas on January 17, 2009; brother Robert Burns. She is survived by her children Thomas (Diane) Capps, Tracey (Dan) Spickard, Tammy Stanton, Terri (Mike) Reeves and Tanya (PJ) Trent; grandchildren Timothy (Kara) O’Malley, Shaun O’Malley, Ryan Spickard, Matthew (Samantha) Spickard, Bethany (Jonny) Abbotoy, Josiah Spickard, Shannah (Anthony Mozzochi) VanKeulen, Jordan VanKeulen, Alyssa VanKeulen, Jessica (Dane) Nester, Justin (Elli) Reeves, Janna Reeves, Jenna Reeves and Noah Anderson; 8 great grandchildren; and her faithful companion Cricket.

A private family service is scheduled. Her final resting place is Hillside Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Summa Hospice at the hospital for their compassion and care.
