Obituary
Michael Daniel Burke, age 95, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 10, 2023 at Altercare of Hartville. He was born in Summerhill, Pennsylvania on September 27, 1927 to the late James Arthur and Martha (Fifield) Burke. His earlier years were spent in Beaverton, Pennsylvania. He served in both the US Navy and US Army where he was a paratrooper. He held many different jobs and was a member of Evermore Community Church.
He was one of 11 children and was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 8 brothers: Arthur Sebastian Burke, James Eugene Burke, Mary Elizabeth Stral, Charles William Burke, George Wallace Burke, Margaret Catherine Burke, Anthony Jerome Burke, John Felmon Burke, Leo Raymond Burke and Peter Henry Burke.
He is survived by his many nieces and nephews and church family.
Calling hours are Monday January 16th, 1:30-2:30 PM at Evermore Community Church. Services begin at 2:30 PM at Evermore Community Church with Pastor Ross Miller and Pastor Burch Nisly officiating. Final resting place is the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Evermore Community Church.
