Mary E. Overholt, age 71, of Jesup, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning May 29, 2009 at Aultman Hospital with her family be her side. Born in Canton, OH on May 12, 1938 to the late Jonas and Emma (Schlabach) Graber, the family moved to Georgia in 1983. She was a member of Lake Grace Mennonite Church. Mary spent her lifetime in ministry, serving in missions, and always opened her heart to others. Survived by her husband of 52 years Walter; 5 children Faith (Mark) Miller of Minerva, Durrell (Zonya) Overholt of Hartville, Gina (Ray) Weaver of Brevard, NC, Charity (Dave) Troyer of Jesup, GA, Daniel Overholt of Jesup, GA; 11 Grandchildren Mario (Jessica) Miller, Tony (Sarah) Miller, Matthew (Yalonda) Miller, Corey and Alexa Overholt, Danielle and Dylan Troyer, Josh, Austin, Victoria and Cason Troyer; 2 great-grandchildren Burton Miller and Catie Miller; brother Jerome (Vicki) Graber of Hartville, OH, sister Martha (Jonathon) Lapp of Sarasota, FL; and other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Saturday 5-8 PM at Maple Grove Mennonite Church Hartville, and Monday 5-8 PM at Rinehart Funeral Home, Georgia. Funeral services are Tuesday 10 AM in First Baptist Church in Screven with Pastor Melvin Yoder officiating. Final resting place is Lake Grace Mennonite Church Cemetery in Jesup.
