Mary Catherine Gillman, age 76, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday January 8, 2022. She was born in Dover, Ohio on January 19, 1945 to the late Jacob and Mary (Troyer) Miller. She was a baker and retired from Maize Valley Farms. Mary was a member of Evermore Community Church. She was an awesome baker and enjoyed quilting. Her world was centered around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

She is survived by her children Mary “Kitty” Smith, Susan “Grace” Thomas, Laura Mays, Loretta (Andrew) Edgell, Robert “Bird” Gillman, Timothy “Scott” Smith; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; siblings Dr. J. Allen (Audrey) Miller, Walter Miller, Thelma Jackson; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by sister Betty Howard; sons-in-law Gerrie Thomas, Russell Mays; and great-grandbabies Aiden and Elijah. 

Calling hours are Monday Jan. 24 th 3-4 PM at Evermore Community Church and a memorial service will begin at 4 PM with Pastors Ross Miller and Butch Nisly officiating. THIS MEMORIAL SERVICE Has Been Rescheduled.
