“Together Again”
Mary E. Feaser
Age 99, cherished Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother was called home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2022. Born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Garland Miller and Frank Phillips on December 25, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 73 years, Harry J. Feaser, her parents, her Brothers Ted and Darryl and her sister Joyce.
She is survived by daughter Joy (Chuck) Waterman of Naples, FL, and son Paul (Sue) Feaser of Jackson Township, OH, three grandchildren Kim Feaser of Independence, OH, Jeff (Paula) Waterman of Schaumburg, IL and Paul III (Kate) of Jackson Township, OH, six great-grandchildren Baxter, Miranda, Benjamin, Katherine, Alexander and Mary, sisters Connie Platt and Sharon Moffat, sister-in-law Marge Bennett and numerous nieces and nephews.
She worked briefly during WWII for General Electric where she had the memorable opportunity to meet, then actor, Ronald Reagan. In her later years, she was the co-owner of A.E. Stocker Tobacco Shoppe (Canton, OH) where she loved interfacing with the public.
She will always be remembered as the consummate Lady, and dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who was totally focused on the welfare of her family and will be missed by many.
Her family asks that she not be mourned but that her life be celebrated.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 18, at 1:00 PM, at the Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home – 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Calling hours will be one hour preceding the service with internment at the Lindenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary’s name to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2551 – 55th St. NE, Canton, OH 44721.
