Mark J. Devereaux

Mark J. Devereaux, age 59, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 23, 2023. He was born in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Lawrence and Sharon (Hineline) Devereaux.

Mark proudly served his country and was a Veteran of the USMC. He was employed by Timken Steel at the Faircrest Steel Plant. Mark was a 1982 graduate of GlenOak High School and during that time he found the love for bodybuilding, which continued throughout most of his life. He also enjoyed cooking, baseball, fishing, golf, and his black Cadillac.

Mark was very proud of his children. He is survived by son, Matthew (Katie) Devereaux of Hammondsville, OH; daughter, Rebecca Devereaux of Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughter, Madelyn Devereaux and step-granddaughter, Claire Fisher, both of Hammondsville, OH. Also survived by sister, Janine Devereaux of Canton, OH; niece, Nicole Devereaux of Canton, OH; nephew, Brandon Devereaux of Tallmadge, OH; and many other beloved friends and family.

A Military Funeral Honors burial ceremony will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH, on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 9:15 a.m.
