Marie Boeshart Morse died on October 1, 2021, at the age of 93. Mrs. Morse was born July 2, 1928, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Nellie (Schellin) Boeshart. She attended the University of Akron. Mrs. Morse and her husband M. Kenneth Morse founded The M. K. Morse Company in Canton in 1962, a manufacturer of cutting tools that grew to supply products worldwide. Upon Mr. Morse’s death in 1996, Mrs. Morse became Chairman of the Board and CEO of the company, continuing its growth as a significant employer in the area. Mrs. Morse is survived by sister, Helen Janet Boeshart of Boca Raton, Florida; daughters, Janet Morse Schoellman (Paul), Nancy Morse Sonner, and Sally Morse Dale; granddaughters, Meagan Sonner-Martino (Nicholas), Lisa Nicole Dale, and Kimberly Lauren Dale; and great granddaughter, Marie Kinsley Shannon. She was an extraordinary woman who we, her family, will love and miss for the rest of our days. Private family services will be held.
