Marianne Changet

Marianne Mongiardo Changet, age 95, of Canton passed away on January 16, 2023. She was born October 29, 1927, to Italian immigrants and moved to canton as a young girl where she spent the remainder of her life. She graduated from Timken High School and after her children were raised, she received her LPN degree from Canton City Schools. She was a devoted wife and mother and took great pleasure tending to the home for her family. Following the death of her husband in 1978, she began her career assisting her son in the family business at Changet Jewelers, where she worked until age 89.

Marianne is preceded in death by her parents, husband Nick Changet Jr., sister Josephine Mongiardo Codispoti, brothers Francis and David Mongiardo, and brother-in-law Dr. Isidore Codispoti.

She is survived by her children Sandra (Dick) Stucky and Nick (Anita) Changet III. She is loved by her grandchildren Lauren (Travis) Spicer, Adriana (Fiancé Michael Barbato) Changet, Nick Changet, and Alex Changet. She was loving Gigi to great grandchildren Carson, Kennedy, and Kellan Spicer

Calling hours will be Friday, January 20, 2023, from 4-6 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Final resting place is Calvary Cemetery.
