Mallory Moss Obituary

Mallory Winifred Moss (December 31, 1997-May 21, 2022)

Mallory Moss, 24, of Randolph, OH died suddenly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on May 21, 2022.  Mallory was a radiant, beautiful soul taken from us too soon.

Mallory was born on December 31, 1997.  After graduating from Waterloo High School she earned her BA in Communications from Wittenberg University.  While working full-time at Versiti Blood Donation and then Stanley Black and Decker, she then earned her MA in Strategic Communications and Social Media from Bowling Green State University.  Mallory was a resident of Columbus, OH since graduating from Wittenberg in 2020.

Mallory is survived by her parents Dan and Polly (Trumpeter) Moss and brother Keegan Moss, boyfriend Shawn Wright, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmother and friends.

Mallory spread the light of kindness and positivity wherever she went.  She was walking sunshine - made purely of goodness and light and lit up a room with her radiant smile and laugh.  She made everyone feel loved and special.  When in Mallory’s presence, it was impossible not to smile and bellies would ache from laughter and cheeks would be sore from smiling.  She was gorgeous on the outside and her beautiful soul shined through her contagious, bright smile and her sunshine locks.  Mallory was full of life and energy.    Intelligent, driven, strong, caring, confident, but yet, the badass, she constantly demonstrated her love and eternal support for her family and friends.  She befriended all and those in need of special support benefited from her shared strength, compassion and sense of righteousness and justice.  Mallory loved music, fashion, soccer, basketball, working out, any opportunity for a new adventure, seeing family and going out with friends.

In Mallory’s eyes, there were no different colors, genders, or races.  We were all humans, to be loved and cared for.  Her drive to make everyone happy kept her going.  Let the bright light, that was Mallory, shine on in us all and we demonstrate this love and kindness to everyone in our path in life!

The outpouring of love and prayers from family and friends sustains us at this time.  A Celebration of Life Worship Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11 am at Advent Lutheran Church in Uniontown, in honor of Mallory.  The family requests that you wear bright colored casual clothes for the celebration.  A meal will follow in the Fellowship Hall.  There will be no visitation or calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mallory’s memory, may be made to the agencies whose causes were close to Mallory’s heart:  Kaleidoscope Youth Center -  go to www.kycohio.org to donate or mail a check to PO Box 8104, Columbus, OH  43201;  or Drive to Excelerate - go to drivetoexcelerate.org, or mail a check to 1123 37th St NE, Canton, OH  44714.
