Kathryn Bielz

Kathryn Bielz, age 85, formerly of Marlboro, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at St. Joseph Care Center. She was born in Canton on December 7, 1935 to the late Joseph and Susie (Curtis) Szekely and graduated from Marlboro High School in 1954. She met and married Karl Bielz on June 12, 1954. Together they were blessed with three daughters. She retired from Aultman Hospital’s Telecommunications. Katie enjoyed vacations and spending time with her family, fishing and boating, and collecting trinkets.  

Preceded in death by her husband Karl in 1984; sister Susan Szekely; brothers Joe and Bill Szekely; son-in-law Jeff Bezon; and granddaughter-in-law Katie Inherst. 

She is survived by daughters Deborah Bezon, Diane (John) Schumaker, Darleen (Brian) Lepley; grandchildren Shaun Inherst Sr., Jeffry II (Sara) Bezon, Alicia (Anton) May, Scott (Meagan) Schumaker, Christian (Amber Beadnell) Schumaker, Kaitlyn (Sean) Rushin, Kyle (Sierra) Lepley, Karlie Lepley, Alivia (Reese Dye) Lepley; great-grandchildren Shaun Jr., Chloe, Jakob, Isabella and Bailee Inherst, Alexis Sudimak, Camden and Davin Blake, Auria and Phaedra May, Foster Schumaker, Reed and Savannah Rushin, Lucas and Leah Lepley; and sister Helen Duff. 

Per her wishes, private burial will be held.
