Joshua Hazzard

Joshua Hazzard, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Kyle “Bubba" “Hazzy" Hazzard unexpectedly in the early morning hours of April 8, 2022 at 23 years of age. Joshua was born on April 17th 1998 was known as a devil-may-care young man with an enormous heart, kind, funny and a pure soul by all of his family and many friends. Josh worked at Bessler Auto Parts in Massillon, Ohio as an automotive dismantler, this was his dream job, it made him so happy to do what he loved. Josh always tried to make people laugh and always had a car to talk about. He wanted everyone around him to be happy and laughing and tried to make it happen every day.

Josh was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Ethel “Tess" Weaver; his Grandfather, Hubert “Frenchy” Hazzard; his Father, Francis H. Lilly, his “Aunt Jen" DeSantis and his very dear friend Nicholas Capalingo.

 He is survived by his mother, Stacey Garofalo; his Grandfather Michael J. Weaver, his sisters Kristen Garofalo (Josh Miller) and Samantha Lilly; numerous cousins with his two closest that were more like brothers: Nicholas “Nicko” Hazzard and Joshua (Double J) Boggs II, numerous aunts and uncles, with his best friend being his Uncle Joshua Boggs I, who he was named after, and his other best friends Jeffrey Beard and Joey Dennis, and his unborn son. Josh also had so many close friends that were family to him that he loved so very much and were so special to him.

 Calling hours for Josh will be Saturday April 16th 2022 at Old First Friends Church, 2130 31st Street NW Canton, Ohio 44709 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Service directly after, with Pastor Michael Gammill officiating. The family asks that no one wear dress clothes as Josh would have laughed at you for wearing them, but rather wear any car or skateboard shirts or hoodies, jeans and Vans shoes if you have them.

 The family asks for hopes, prayers and wishes during this time and that everyone please be cautious on the road and most importantly that you cherish your loved ones every single day as you never know when your last day with someone may be.
