Joseph Gingerich, age 75, of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday August 20, 2020. He was born in Hartville on July 28, 1945 to the late Jonas and Edna (Schrock) Gingerich. He owned and operated a concrete business with his partner Eugene Miller for 35 years. He grew up attending Maple Grove Mennonite Church and current member of Faith Family. He was an avid car enthusiast, loved spending time with his family and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Kristine; sons Joe and Tony; grandchildren Joseph and Courtney; siblings Elmer (Martha), Naomi (Ellis) Gordon, Joanne (David) Miller; many nieces, nephews and friends; special doggie friend Lizzy. Preceded in death by sisters Esther Sommers, Miriam Beachy and Dorcas Munchausen.
Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Bethany Mennonite Church where all are invited to drive your collectible cars. A Graveside service will be held for the immediate family on Monday 10 AM at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Pastor Matt Zook officiating and can be viewed live at Arnold Funeral Homes Facebook. Memorials may be made to Amyloidosis Foundation.
