Jeanne (Becker) Carter

Jeanne Carter, age 67, of North Canton, passed away October 8th, 2020 after a lengthy illness in the early afternoon hours surrounded by family in her home where she wanted to be. She fought such a hard, hard battle through all the pain. Jeanne cared about her family with everything she had which carried her through the pain and suffering. She was a homemaker, a wonderful mother, a loving partner and a beautiful soul that touched the lives of many, always being there to listen and never judged.
 

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, “Dick” Carter; 3 siblings, Jimmy, Gary and Bonnie; father, Clarence Becker; and her mother, Betty Freed.
Jeanne is survived by her loving partner of 14 years, Alan McClung who adored and cared for until the very end; 3 beloved children
who were her whole world, Kelly Fugitt (Nate), Robbie Wix, Kyle White (Melissa); grandchildren who were also her whole world, Brandon Toth (Stephanie), Amanda Toth, Tyler White, Austin White (Jessica), Kody Wix, Lauren Imes (Mark), Jake Carter and many more that called her grandma; great grandchildren, Kolten, Laci, Jaxson, Isabella, Aaliyah, Carter and many more children that called her NeNe; brother and 2 sisters Gene, Beverly and Becky; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Special thank you to Russ Barbuto (Darlene) who she felt was a brother and sister to her; who spent many days taking her to doctor’s appointments, dinners and everything else that was needed.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW with Rev. Nancy Conley officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 11-1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Please sign the guest book.
