Helen J. Stinard

Helen J. Stinard, age 73, of Canton passed away unexpectedly at her home on May 22, 2023. She was born as one of 7, in Wheeling, West Virginia on November 7, 1949, to the late Harry and Velma (Lyons) Stinard. Helen was raised in Cadiz as well as Canton throughout her childhood. She spent 33 years working at the Hoover Company, working in various roles in production. “Aunt Hel” as she was referred to by her family was known for her feisty, loving, and fun personality. She was always ready for a trip to Mountaineer, a euchre game, and spending as much time with her family as she could.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Bill Stinard, Richard Stinard, Jim Stinard, Jackie Ujcich, Judy Stinard, and Vicki Williams. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and a great group of friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. from 4-6 PM, a Memorial Service will begin at 6 PM in the funeral home with Celebrant Kevin O’Brien officiating.
