Harold B. Mostov, age 75, of Canton passed away on September 8, 2022, at Rose Lane Nursing Home following a brief illness. He was born to Roy and Ann (Fogel) Mostov on May 15, 1947, in Canton, Ohio and is a graduate of McKinley High School. Harold was drafted into the Army and spent time stationed in Germany. He was a clerk with the US Post Office for over 30 years, retiring from the Canton Waterworks Office. During his tenure with the post office, he served as a Union Officer with the APWU. He spent 47 years with his late wife, Frances, who passed away in 2017. Harold was an avid baseball fan, especially the Cleveland Indians for his entire life, he was the owner of an extensive baseball card collection and enjoyed following college football.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances, and parents. Harold is survived by his son and daughter in law Alan and Gail Mostov; grandsons Joel and Benjamin Mostov; siblings Donald (Linda) Mostov and Bena (Garry) Kear.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2022, at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. at 11:00 AM with Rabbi David Komerofsky officiating. Final resting place will be North Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Canton Jewish Family Services.
