Obituary
Gerald E. “Jerry” Richards, age 69, of Hartville, passed away on Sunday night April 16, 2023. He was born on August 13, 1953 in Barberton to the late Floyd G. and Kathryn (Marstiller) Richards. He attended Springfield High School and was a concrete finisher and concrete truck driver. He met Michelle Hinkal at Clearwater and they married November 24, 1973. Jerry loved hanging out with his boys Jerry and Dakota, and nephew Rickey, and going to car shows. He loved 50’s and 60’s music at Winks and Springfield Lake at the gazebo. He loved Elvis Presley. Jerry never met a stranger who he didn’t know. He will be sadly missed by many.
Survived by his wife of 49 years, Michelle; sons Jerry (Valerie) Richards, Dakota Dillon; granddaughter Jacey Richards; sister Connie (Pat) Fiocca; sister-in-law Tanya Marker; as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters Delilah and Bonnie; nephews David and Nathan; and brother-in-law Allen Marker.
A celebration of life service will be held in August and please check back for updates.
