Frances Lucille Van Camp, age 93, of Hartville, passed away on Tuesday March 30, 2021, peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 2, 1927 in Bobtown, PA to the late Paul and Anna (Onusko) Kritz. Frances had been a bank teller for Akron Savings/ Trans Ohio Bank for 22 years. She was a founding member of Lake Athletic Booster Club and is in the Lake Athletic Hall of Fame for her 29 years of service as treasurer of the booster club. She also served as treasurer of AARP and Golden Neighbors. She has been a member of Little Flower Catholic Church for over 50 years.
Preceded in death by her husband Edgar Jr.; 2 brothers Paul and James Kritz. She is survived by her son Frederick (Patricia) Van Camp; daughter Kathleen (Michael) Clay; grandchildren Kristi Van Camp, Amanda (Joseph) Beres, Austin (Valincea) Clay; great-grandchildren Clay, Nathaniel and Paxton Beres and Naharia Clay; sisters Joan Hinerman, Dorothy Bixler; sister-in-law Eleanor Kritz; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 11 AM at Little Flower Catholic Church with Very Rev. Canon Christopher Henyk celebrant. Calling hours are one hour prior to services 10-11 AM Monday in the church. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Aultman Hospice or the Lake Athletic Booster Club.
