Obituary
Florence May Norton, age 96, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 25, 2023. She was born on March 30, 1926 in Randolph, Ohio to the late Henry and Mary (Brumbaugh) Myers. Florence retired from Teledyne Monarch and was a seamstress doing alterations for others working until the time she passed. She was a member of the Hartville Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed family and friends to the fullest.
Preceded in death by first husband Jordan Nichols and second husband Everett Norton; siblings Ruth, Grace, Ethel and Don; and granddaughter Cassandra Eales. She is survived by her children Bob (Wendy) Nichols, Jeff (Margaret) Nichols, Randy Nichols; step-children Ron (Mary) Norton, Dick Norton, Louise Norton, Joe (Camille) Norton; grandchildren Ben Nichols, Hailey Brooke; great-grandchildren Charlotte Nichols, Audrey and Elliot Sargus and Jack Nichols; 14 step-grandchildren and 23 step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Nellie Price; other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service will be Sunday May 21st at 1 PM at the Hartville Church of the Brethren with Pastor Anthony DiMarco officiating.The family will have a committal of cremains Monday May 22nd at Mount Peace Cemetery in Hartville.
