Edna Shrock Wittmer, age 90, of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 28, 2021. She was born May 15, 1931 in Lake Township to the late Henry and Mary Ann (Miller) Shrock, one of 10 children. She married William Wittmer on September 26, 1953 and they had 4 daughters. She was a member of Evermore Community Church. Edna was a phenomenal cook and was the head cook at the Hartville Kitchen. She loved many things including fishing, sewing, gardening and canning, shelling, shark tooth hunting, ceramics, puzzles and will be remembered for being so creative. She loved and adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Diane Wittmer, Mary Lou Smith, Janet (Randy) Mansfield, Kathy Parker; 10 grandchildren Bill Smith, Martyne (Tom) McClary, Cory (Shaina) Smith, Joe Smith, Harold (Heidi) Mansfield, Isaiah (Kimi) Mansfield, Dena Parker, Amanda (Kyle) Barnett, Ava Parker and Olivia (Logan) Kendall; 12 great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Julien Smith, Ellie and Owen McClary, Brody, Walker and Riah Smith, Emmie Smith, Nora and Sadie Mansfield, Emma and Thomas Mansfield; siblings Erma Beachy, Noah (Dorothy) Shrock; siblings-in-law Dorothy Shrock, Mary Ellen Shrock, Ervin Helmuth and Harold Yoder. She was preceded in death by husband William in 2013; 7 siblings, Sarah Miller, Martha Beachy, Emma Beachy, Mary Helmuth, Melvin "Sonny" Shrock, Henry Shrock and Raymond Shrock.
Funeral Services are Monday 11:00 AM at Evermore Community Church with Pastors Ross Miller and Butch Nisly officiating. The service will be livestreamed on Evermore Community Church’s website and facebook. Final resting place is Evermore Community Church Cemetery.
