Doug Thompson Obituary

Doug K. Thompson, age 67, of North Benton, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior after complications with COPD. Doug was born in Bedford to the late Kenneth Thompson and mother, Sherry (Wolf) Hopkins. He was raised in Hudson and attended Hudson High School. Doug was an Army Veteran.

He was employed by Portage County Automotive and Maintenance Department where he was an auto mechanic and autobody specialist; he had a love for cars and fixing them. Doug will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Dorothy Wolf; in-laws, Carl and Joyce Lane and granddaughter, Chloe Thompson.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dreama Thompson; his loving mother, Sherry (Don) Hopkins; 3 loving sons, Doug (Selma), Clifton and Roman (Vanessa) Thompson; sister, Debra (Terry) Mohan; brother, Tim (Karen) Thompson and 14 grandchildren.
