Obituary
Denise Christine Tinley, age 51, of Uniontown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 25, 2023. She was born in Canton on June 6, 1972 to Tim and Kathy Leech, attended Canton South High School and graduated from Hoover High School. She earned a degree from Kent State and spent a 21 year career in various preschools including Head Start of Akron and Alliance and Adventure Place at Advent Lutheran Church. She always had a helping hand and loved the beach.
She is survived by her husband Jeffrey; children Jake (Gabrielle) Tinley, Gabriel Tinley, David Krause and Kyah Krause; mother Kathy Leech; sisters Kelly Leech, Jo Ann (Keith) Bumganer; mother-in-law Beverly Krause; and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her father Tim, baby son Christian, and aunt Tammy Lau Flute.
Calling hours are Wednesday 4-6 PM and funeral services begin at 6 pm at First Christian Church, 6900 Market Ave, N in Canton. A graveside service will be Thursday 10 AM at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron. The procession to the cemetery departs from the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville Thursday 9:30 AM. Any donation made directly to the family will help them with expenses at this time.
