Zita Duckworth, age 83 of Canton, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, in Altercare of Louisville. She was born April 22, 1939, in Buchtel, Ohio to Robert and Ann (Holleran) Novak. Zita loved traveling with family to Myrtle Beach, West Virginia and visiting and collecting Fenton Glass. She loved being a grandmother and spoiling her grandchildren at every opportunity.

Zita was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Carl Duckworth December 25, 2022; two sons, Robert H. and Glenn Patrick Duckworth; two sisters, Marguerite Robart, Roberta Nitzu; brother John Novak. She is survived by sons, Brian, Kevin, Eric, Todd, Randal and Nathan; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and sister, Karen (Richard) Fernandes. Following cremation, a memorial service will be Thursday, March 2, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave NW with Kevin O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery.
