Wilma E. Reese, age 95 of Canton, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus in her sleep in her son, Tim's home, where she was cared for so lovingly in her last months with us on, February 23, 2021. She was born March 10, 1925 in Canton to Edward D. and Myrtle C. (Boydelatour) Okey.

Wilma was a Federal Employee and retired after 10 years with the Federal Aviation Administration at the Akron Canton Airport. She was a member of Trinity Gospel Temple and also visited First Baptist Church in Massillon. Wilma shared her Christian Faith and love with everyone she encountered. Her wonderfully kind spirit will be missed but always remembered.

She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2002, they are now "Together Forever".  Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Susan McCutchan-Shepherd (Frank Shepherd)  of Rock Hill, South Carolina; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim (Diane) Reese of Canton, Paul Reese of San Diego, California, Daniel Reese of Canton; Grandchildren, Shawn (Crystie) McCutchan and Philip (Brandi) McCutchan, Tim (Stacy) Reese Jr., Jessica (Alex) Moore, Ariene and Corey Reese, Justin Reese; Great Grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jonathan, Jacob, and Jackson, Isabella, Lydia and Hannah, Lincoln, Avery and Marshall, Liam, Samantha, and Garrett.

Calling hours are Saturday 10-11:00 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave N., Canton. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Roger Alber officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends not able to attend may watch the service on the Arnold Funeral Home Facebook page.

Memorial donations are requested to Trinity Gospel Temple Youth Ministry or Refuge of Hope.
