William Lee Tiley, age 73, formerly of Canton more recently of Suwanee, GA went home to be with the Lord Friday in North Side Hospital Cumming, GA after an extended illness. Born in Pottsville, PA he was a retired General Manager with US Steel and past Board Member of Visionary Design Systems and Alventive. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Tiley received his BS Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Lehigh University. He was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife of 46 years: Joyce (Widmer) Tiley of Suwanee, Ga. Daughter: Mrs. John (Jane) Kenyon of Duluth, GA. Son: David (Christine) Tiley of Los Altos Hills, CA. Five grandchildren: Michael and Jack Kenyon. Danny, McKenna and Caleigh Tiley. Funeral service will be Tuesday 11:00 A.M. in Simpson United Methodist Church with Rev. John Clark officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Stark County Young Life P.O. Box 9415 Canton, OH 44711.
