William L. "Bill" Stickler, age 77, of Atwater passed away Tuesday October 14, 2014 at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. Born on June 12, 1937 in Suffield, Ohio to the late Roy and Anna (Kline) Stickler, he retired from Tallmadge City Schools and was a custodian for over 30 years. He enjoyed his 54 Chevy and his family. Preceded in death by his wife Donna J. Stickler on June 26, 2004; sister Irene Norton and brothers Richard, Leroy, Ralph and Roman Stickler. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Jeffery Simons of Randolph, son David Stickler of Atwater; grandchildren Candi and Brian Takas of Marlboro; great-grandchildren Hayli Sue Marty, Lexi Takas and Quinn Takas; sisters Evelyn Ellis of Alliance, Shirley Stickler of NY; brother Don and Virginia Stickler of NC; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:15 AM at Mount Peace Cemetery with Pastor Steve Cisney officiating.
