Obituary

William Steve Pedroff, age 72, of Massillon passed away Friday evening, January 19, 2007 in his residence with his family by his side. He was born April 26, 1934 in Canton, Ohio to Steve and Sylvia (Gregoff) Pedroff. Bill was a 1952 McKinley High School graduate, was an Army Veteran, and member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Mr. Pedroff graduated from the American Institute of Baking in Chicago and then joined the family business, Canton City Bakery. He owned the Sun Grill in Akron from 1958 until 1976 then moved to Florida where he owned and operated Dwarf Donuts and Daddy's Donuts in St. Petersburg. He enjoyed bowling, golf and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betsy A. (Stilianos) Pedroff; daughters and son-in-law, Stephanie and Thomas Theiss of Massillon, Connie L. Pedroff of St. Petersburg, Fl.; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Tressa Pedroff of St. Petersburg, Fl., sister and brother-in-law, Rose Marie and David Chris of Akron; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Nancy Pedroff of Brimfield, OH, Peter and Joan Pedroff of Santa Barbara, Ca.; grandchildren, Olivia and Andrew Pedroff and a "grand dog" Eddy. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Fr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
