William T. "Bill" Ohman, age 80, of Hartville, passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center with his family by his side. He was recovering from a stroke in October and doing well when hit with another massive stroke on December 31, 2011. Bill was the best husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather that anyone could have. He enjoyed farming, golfing and fishing and spent his winters at Lake Okeechobee, Florida with his wife Janet. Bill was a man of integrity who earned his family's respect and admiration. He led by example. He has made an impact on all of our lives and in his absence will be greatly missed. Bill is the 12th of 14 siblings and preceded in death by 9 siblings and granddaughter Shelby Ohman. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Janet; 6 children Luann (Sam) Melaragno, Debbie Weizenecker, Vickie (Ray) Dickson, Cheryl (Brian) Sutton, Theresa (Jay) Swallie, Billy Jr. (Stephanie) Ohman; 15 loving grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother Andy Ohman; and sisters Helen Porrier, Irene Clark and Julie Danford. Calling hours are Friday 6-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 11 AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Nicholas Mancini celebrant.
