William W. McVicker, Jr., age 62, of North Canton died Tuesday afternoon after a brief illness. A life resident of Canton, he was retired form the East Ohio Gas Co. Bill was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Orioles, VFW and the American Legion. Preceded in death by his parents: William and M. Dorothy (Morrison) McVicker he is survived by a daughter: Tami McVicker of Panama City, FL, Son: William W. McVicker, III. Two grandchildren: Rachel and Austin. Two sisters: Sharon Walker and Dorothy Norris both of Canton. Brother: Edward McVicker of Canton. Best friend and companion: Barbara Bollinger of N. Canton. A private funeral service will be Friday with Rev. Manley Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in Hanover Cemetery Newark, OH.
