William "Bill" Gaume, age 78, of Canton, passed away Wednesday morning in Mercy Medical Center from complications of pneumonia. Bill was born in Canton to the late Gordon and Doris (Rhinehart) Gaume. Bill was in the American Bowling Congress where he thrived in tournament play and perfect games; he was also inducted in the bowling Hall of Fame in 1978. He was a beast with a bowling bowl and truly loved the sport. Presently, he was a member and employee of the Stark County district Library.
