William E. Yoder, age 70, of Alliance went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in the comfort of his son's home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Canton on January 20, 1941 to the late Daniel and Emma (Sommers) Yoder. He was a life-long truck driver. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and especially loved to meet with friends at Sugar Shack and other local restaurants. He is survived by a son William Jr. (Lisa) Yoder of Alliance; four daughters Karen (Don) Stutzman of PA, Emma (Edward) Sterling of CO, Teresa (Bruce) Morrison of Randolph and Loretta (Michael Jr.) Gorby of Rogers; 11 grandchildren William III and Tonya Marie Yoder, Ryan, Ashley, Drew and Salena Stutzman, Chris (Kady) Yoder, Matthew (Amber) Morrison, Dana, Michael III and Timothy Gorby; 3 great-grandchildren Sylvana Yoder, Kassidy Yoder and M. J. Morrison; 2 brothers Raymond (Laura) Yoder of Uniontown and Marvin (Debbie) Yoder of Alliance. He was preceded in death by grandson Edward Leroy Sterling II and sister Etta Byler. Family and Friends may call Sunday 4-7 PM at Bethany Mennonite Church, 3497 Edison St. NE (Route 619) Hartville, OH 44632.
