William "Billy" Detweiler, Jr. ,age 71, of Sarasota, FL and formerly of Hartville, OH went to be with the Lord on Monday January 7, 2013. He was born on December 15, 1941 in Hartville to the late William and Ada (Schrock) Detweiler. Billy was loved by many and had a great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, William in 1972 and Ada in 2003. He is survived by his son, Anthony of Myakka City, FL; four brothers, Bob, Wayne and Ed of Sarasota and Loren of Okeechobee, FL; five sisters, Dorothy Miller, Arlene (Jake) Mast, Mary Louise (Walter) Raber, all of Sarasota, Ellen Anderson and Marie (Glenn) Miller, all of Hartville and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved and enjoyed. They will miss their "Uncle Billy". Visitation will be Wednesday 6- 8 PM at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home and Thursday 10- 11 AM at Abundant Life Church in Florida where the funeral begins at 11AM . Then in Ohio, Visitation will be on Saturday 9:30AM- 12:00 noon at Hartville Mennonite Church. Funeral services will begin at noon on Saturday at Hartville Mennonite Church. Final resting place is Oak Grove Cemetery.
