William "Bill" C. Schumacher, passed away on August 2, 2024. He was born in Canton, Ohio on September 21, 1944, the son of the late William H. and Bernice Schumacher. Married to wife, Kay  Schumacher of 58 years, father to Amy (Tim) Hoover and Kurt Schumacher, grandfather to Emerson, Will and Ted Hoover.

Bill had two brothers, Fred (Sandy) Schumacher and John (Anne) Schumacher.

He was a 1962 graduate of Culver Military Academy and a 1966 graduate of Bowling Green State University where he belonged to the fraternity of Alpha Tau Omega. He was also a member of Congress Lake Club since 1971.

Bill was retired from the F.E. Schumacher Company Inc. of Hartville, Ohio, as President until his retirement.

He was an avid fisherman, loved outdoor sports and birding. He also enjoyed spending time with and supporting his grandchildren through their sports and life activities.

A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family.
