William W. Baines, age 87, of North Canton, passed away Saturday morning, February 13, 2010 in Summit's Trace of Greater Canton. William was born in Rochester, PA on April 7, 1922 to the late James A. Sr. and Laura A. (Steele) Baines. He was a Sergeant in the Army Air Corps during WW II serving in the Pacific, and was a Tool and Die worker at Goodyear Aerospace, Diebold and the Hoover Co., retiring in 1988. William was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mina L. Baines, sister Thelma Jean Baines and brother James Baines, Jr. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Paula and Donald Hillenbrand of Canton, and grandson John W. Hillenbrand. Following cremation the family will receive friends for a time of fellowship on Monday evening 4:00- 6:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton.
