William Adkins, age 68, of Canton ascended to Adonai on September 7, 2024. He was born in Massillon on October 9, 1955, to William Adkins and Norberta (Pickar) Edwards. Upon graduating from Massillon High School, Willaim served his country in the US Army. He spent his career in construction as a carpenter before retiring in 2022 from American Patio. William was a skilled martial artist trained by Master Chen in Wing Chung and Tai Chi. A devout follower of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), He was a committed 20-year member and beloved Elder of the STAR in the East Congregation.

His legacy is a servant's heart represented in his love for the Lord and his family. He is survived by his children Courtney Adkins, Zachary Adkins, Braden Stepanovich-Adkins, Stone Stepanovich-Adkins, Stevie Marie Stepanovich-Adkins, Nicki Stepanovich, Tristan Stepanovich; grandchildren Tommy Menches, Eden Adkins, Aliyah Adkins, Raymond Wants, Rickardo Lee, Luca Stepanovich, Noah Lewton; siblings Nora Adkins, Michael Adkins, and Bruce Adkins; mother of their children Melissa Stepanovich.

Burial will take place at Henry Warstler Cemetery on September 13, 2024 at 10 AM. A celebration of life service will take place at the STAR in the East Congregation on Sunday, September 22nd @ 5 PM with food and fellowship immediately following.
