Willard Lavy, age 95, of Canton, passed away Saturday morning, February 6, 2016 in Aultman Woodlawn Care Center. He was born May 28, 1920 In Montgomery County, Ohio to Samuel and Corda (Hoover) Lavy. Willard was a WW II Army Veteran, worked for the Hoover Company and was a member of Friendship Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy in 2001. Survivors include a son, Dennis Lavy of Canton; grandson Sean Lavy of Marlboro Township; granddaughter, Bianca (Andrew) Paquin of Brunswick, Ohio and three great grandchildren, Shelby, Maci and William.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Pastor Delaney Young officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service 10-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Garden.
