Willa M. Goodlet, age 86, of North Canton, passed away August 30, 2026, in the comfort of her home with family by her side. She was born in Tanner, West Virginia as one of 6 children, on March 26, 1940, to the late Loyd and Bonnie (Beall) Wells. A woman of profound faith, she dedicated her life to God and walked daily in His grace. Her home was built on a foundation of love, prayer, and devotion, and she dedicated her life to nurturing her family. Blessed with a sharp and intelligent mind, she was a woman of great capability. She successfully established and operated her own medical transcription business.
In her leisure, she was an accomplished and talented seamstress and baker. With a gentle touch and remarkable skill, she poured her love into every fabric she stitched, creating beautiful garments and lasting treasures for her family.
Her love was unconditional, always putting the needs of others first.
Willa is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Russell Williams Jr., daughter Karla Fischer, grandson Justin Ackerman.
She is survived by her husband Richard Goodlet; children Cheryl (Scott) Ackerman, Russell Williams III., and Marsha Anstine; son in law Michael Fischer; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren
Calling hours will be Friday, September 4, 2026, from 11 AM – 12 Noon at Arnold Funeral Home at 4817 Cleveland Ave NW. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon. Burial will take place at North Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to North Canton Church of Christ.
