IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wendell D.
Kegg
March 24, 1925 – November 28, 2015
Wendell Kegg, of Canton, I was born in 1925; you figure it out. My body ceased to function recently, but an angel carried me to Jesus Christ who has judged me into Heaven since I am a believing Christian. I am now with my wife, Ellen, who preceded me to Heaven in January '09. We have three children; Kathryn Nance of Stafford, VA, Steven and Charles of Uniontown, Ohio. There are four grandchildren, Charles and James Nance of Stafford and Elizabeth and David Kegg of Uniontown. I served in WWII with the 96th Infantry Division on Leyte and Okinawa where I received a Bronze Star. I was only one of four who came through both campaigns unscathed. Then I graduated from Ohio State with a BSc degree. At OSU, I met Ellen and we were married in my last year of study. I am exceedingly happy to be in God's heavenly home with Ellen and would like to meet all of you some day. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Canton with Rev. Kevin Thomas officiating. A private interment will be held for the family. Please sign the guest book.
