Wayne Erb, Age 92 of Hartville went home to be with The Lord Tuesday, April 30, 2024. He was born May 5. 1931 in Hartville to Dan and Sevilla (Miller) Erb. Wayne worked with his brother Ellis for many years at Erb Construction Inc. Wayne was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Middlebranch. He was also an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a past president of the Hartville Lion's Club where he was a member for over 50 years and received the Melvin E. Jones award.

He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine in 2019. Survivors include children, Connie (Bill) Baxter, Jim Erb, Mark Erb; grandchildren, Rachelle and Shaun Erb, Brian and Melissa Baxter, Jason and Josh (Kayla) Erb; 5 great grandchildren, Chase Carnes, Travis Erb; sisters, Sarah (Marvin) Broadwater, Lorie Manko, Mary (Laverne) Wittmer; brothers, Dan (Norma) Erb, Larry (Linda) Erb, William (Anna) Erb and sister-in-law Sylvia Erb, Janice Erb. He was also preceded in death by his son William D. Erb; sisters Zelda Eisenberger, Arlene Hostetler, Leona Erb; brothers John and Ellis Erb.

Calling hours are Sunday 2-4:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville and Monday 10-11:00 a.m. at the Grace Brethren Church in Middlebranch where services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Patrick Black and Pastor Chad Durfee officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Peace Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hartville Lion's club.
