Wanda M. Bowen, age 75, formerly of Canton recently of Navarre died Thursday afternoon in Aultman Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Whitacre, VA she was preceded in death by her adopted father Pete Rogers and a step son Dirk Bowen. Wanda is survived by her husband of 29 years: William R. Bowen of the residence. Two sons Clifford & Christopher Nevel, two step sons: David & Douglas Bowen all of Canton. Six grandchildren: Lisa, Crystal, Edward, Stacy, Kalen & Amy. Four great grandchildren: Chance, Dani, Katlin & Chrysta. Mother: Maggie Rogers and a sister Mrs. Duane (Peggy) Helmick both of Columbus, IN. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be on Sunday 2:00 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W. with Mr. Duane Helmick officiating. A private interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
