Walter R. Siegenthaler, age 95, of Canton passed away Thursday morning in Aultman Hospital. Born in Holmes County to Walter and Hattie Siegenthaler. Walter retired from the Hoover Company where he worked as a tool and die maker. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gardening and was a dog lover. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harold Siegenthaler. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Anna C. (Rossi) Siegenthaler, 5 Children Teresa (Richard) Hart, Mark David (JoAnn) Siegenthaler, Tim (Barb) Siegenthaler all of Canton, Richard Siegenthaler of Ashland and Janice Corp of Crestline. 10 grandchildren and 4 great-granchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday 11 AM in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. with Pastor Greg Roberts officiating.
