Walter D. Oswald, age 91, of Hartville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 7, 2006 at Aultman Hospital. He was born in Charm, Ohio on February 27, 1915 to the late Harvey E. and Ellen (Domer) Oswald. Walt was a retired pattern maker for Old King Cole of Louisville. He was a member of the Hartville Church of the Brethren. Preceded in death by 5 siblings; he is survived by his wife Cora of 40 years; children, Judy (Gene) Ringer of Canton, Nancy (Richard) McKenzie of NC, James (Rebecca) Oswald of KY, Dale (Nancy) Stermer of Canton, Carol (Richard) McGirr of AZ; brothers, Wayne (Donna) Oswald of Hartville, Marvin (Edna) Oswald of Wooster; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to services Monday in the church 10-11 AM. Funeral services will be Monday 11 AM in the Hartville Church of the Brethren with Pastor Tobin Crenshaw officiating. Final resting place is East Nimishillen Church Cemetery.
