Wallace E. "Wally" Miller age 72 of Hartville went Home to be with the Lord on Monday December 17, 2007 at Aultman Hospital with his family by his side after a short illness. Born in Hartville on January 23, 1935 to the late Atlee P. and Susanna (Cross) Miller, he muck farmed before moving to California in his 20's. In California he worked in a can factory and enjoyed fishing. Upon retirement he returned to Hartville and has been working part time for Central City Motor Cars. He was a regular with the local coffee crowd at our local restaurants and at the Market Place. He liked tractors. Preceded in death by wife Peggy Miller; he is survived by step children Georgia Ivy and Shirley Vecchiolla of NC and Dennis Painter of MT, 7 step grand and 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Irene Hershberger of Hartville, Bill and Josephine Miller of MI, Betty and Joe Mast of FL, Mary Alice and Roman Hostetler of West Farmington, Fannie and Martin Yoder of TN, Atlee Jr. and Twila Miller, Dorothy and Wilmer Weaver all of Hartville, Susan and William Weaver of TN, Mahlon and Alyce Miller and Daniel Miller all of Hartville; 41 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Mennonite Church and Thursday in the church 10-10:45 a.m. Funeral services are Thursday in the church 11 a.m. with Pastor Stan Grizzle officiating.
